Hyatt-Chervitz Trip to Cancun
On Dec. 28, 2007, we went on a family vacation with Marianne, Steve. Jordan, and Allison to help us celebrate (in advance) our 40th wedding anniversary. Although the kids were sick and the weather wasn't so great, we all had a wonderful, fun-filled, time!
After a very short plane ride, we arrived at the Riu Cancun.

The kids loved the swim-up bar and spent most of their time playing and swimming in this pool, the beach, and ocean.

The adults liked the beach too, especially when they met up with Coco the Chimp, as well as another smaller monkey

Ping Pong was another favorite activity,

as well as tennis,

arts & crafts, going to the Flea markets, taking pictures at all the photo ops, and collecting coconuts on our way to see cousin Joan and her entire family. Steve, Art and Jordan were big winners of most of the ping pong competitions, and Allison and Jordan won the sand castle competition. (The women chose to cheer everyone on rather than participate!)

New Year's Eve was so much fun! The kids managed to stay up to welcome 2008.

The last few days it was very windy and cool. Allie still was not up to par but managed to have fun with her gymnastics, Jordan, Steve and Art played ping-pong non-stop, while Marianne and I read. We had fun in spite of the bad weather.

Lots of smiles, lots of fun, lots of memories. The kids could not have been better, we all got along great and hope to take more trips together! Hopefully, Andy's family will be able to join us on our next trip.
