Fun with laundry baskets
Marin had fun this weekend playing in her "elevator". Her dolls also joined her, and she danced them around while I was playing some music.
Later, Annelie used the same laundry basket to give one of her dolls a pretend bath. She let him soak there, then did a great job of scrubbing him and drying him off.
I really should take some video of this sort of thing and post it somewhere. It's very cute.

Annelie in the snow
I only took a few photos right after the huge snow storm last week, but they all came out very well. Here's another one of Annelie, half buried in the snow, playing.
Greta took some photos as well, but I haven't uploaded them yet.

The big snowstorm
After the record setting snowfall last weekend, the kids were anxious to get outside. However, it was cold and windy, so we only went outside for about half an hour. They really enjoyed themselves. Marin dug in the snow and said she was "gardening". She also observed that the snow was "very, VERY deep"! Annelie bravely waded out into the waist-high snow and started trying to dig around her.
They both had a blast. Hopefully we can go out again before the snow melts (which is supposed to happen on Wednesday).

Bucket crazy
Our kids have recently become enamored with buckets. Specifically, they like being in them. Annelie started this activity of going inside a little wicker basket. And not just temporarily, either. She sits in there and leafs through a book or two, just as happy as can be. Marin soon joined in. How they fit in that little bucket is something I have yet to figure out.

Marin's first face
Here you see Marin's first recognizable drawing of a face. Greta starter her off by telling her to draw a large circle for the face. Later on in the day, she drew some eyes, a nose, and mouth by herself, without prompting. I'm very impressed! On the left is Annelie's face, sadly still with no features at all.
