Memorial Day Outing
We decided to take a quick "trip" with the kids over the long weekend and went to Jellystone Park - home of Yogi Bear. It was really great, with lots of activities for the kids. The next day, we went to Six Flags and had a blast. The whole trip took a little more than 24 hours and was only 1/2 hour away. Can't beat that!
At Jellystone park, the kids met Yogi bear, in characature first, and then the real deal. They even got to wake him up from his nap in his cave and take photos with him.

There was lots to do like miniature golf, shuffleboard, a "movie" theater, arcade a pancake breakfast, playground, a pool (which was too cold to go into) and just hanging out in our cabin.

The next day it was off to Six Flags where the kids were so brave and rode a ton of rides. By the end of the day, they were tuckered out!

Jordan's Big Week
Last week was a big week for Jordan. He turned 5 years old on May 13th, he had his birthday party at his gymnastics gym, he had his first t-ball game and his closing program at school.

On his birthday morning, he went downstairs to find a surprise gift from Mom and Dad - a double Pop-a-Shot machine.

After school he went to Grandma Ady's and saw another big present, his very own drum set.

Then we all met up for dinner at his favorite restaurant, Mimi's Cafe where the waiters sang to him and brought him a piece of chocolate pie with a candle.

On Sunday, he had a gymnastics birthday party with 30 of his closest friends! He loved it.

After his party (as if he wasn't worn out enough) he had his first t-ball game. Steve coaches their team through the JCC.

<Then, on Wednesday, Jordan's Pre-K class at Lucky Lane had their closing program. As their music teacher, I've been working with their class since January to prepare for this 30 minute show that includes about 15 songs, 2 poems and even some French. The kids did wonderful and Steve and all the grandparents came to watch. Jordan is really going to miss his friends from preschool.
