We've been to the Children's Museum of Manhattan twice in the past month. Although I've already blogged about it once, I have some new pictures, including some of the new Dora the Explorer exhibit, and the new Magic Bus exhibit.
There's always something I'm discovering about the Dr. Seuss exhibit they have. This time, I saw they actually have some of his working drafts on display! This one is from Green Eggs and Ham, and anyone who remembers the book can tell that this page has gone through substantial changes.
Anyway, here are the pictures with the kids. The first one is of the Marin in the Dr. Seuss exhibit, riding in the car from Green Eggs and Ham, the second is the Magic Schoolbus itself (it is an exhibit all about weather, I'm not sure what the bus has to do with it). The last two are in the Dora exhibit. Enjoy!
We all went to Central Park today, along with my friend Adam, to see the amazing art exhibit called The Gates. It just opened this morning, and there were crowds of people taking photos, videos, and just taking everything in. It is an amazing project, evidently costing $21 million, (paid by the artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude). Walking through this exhibit was such a great experience, everyone was happy, and just awed by the scope of this project.
