Annelie is crawling

This weekend, Annelie surprised us all by finally crawling forward. She had been crawling backwards for a while, and was doing all sorts of other crazy stunts, including one where she would get in a position like she was trying to do a headstand. But she now can crawl around. Even so, though, she only does this occasionally. She hasn't really had the urge to go exploring. She just likes to go get a toy she has an eye on.

I don't have any pictures of the crawling yet. I did get some video, but that's too large to make available on the server. So, in the meantime, here's some other cute photos recently taken.

Here are some recent photos from Steve and Marianne's recent birthday dinners. Steve turned 40 this year!

Post-year pictures

I haven't taken many pictures since the girls were a year old, which was last month. But we have a few miscellaneous pictures to share, of the girls sharing some bread, Marin diving into the bread head-first, and other interesting photos. The last photo is a bit blurry, but it's the best photo I have of Marin's new frowny expression she's been using a lot the past week or so.
