Grant's Farm Fun

We decided to take the kids to Grant's Farm since the weather was beautiful and we thought they'd enjoy seeing the many animals. We started the day at our house with homemade Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, which Jordan loved. At Grant's Farm, Jordan and Allison probably had the most fun playing with each other, laying on the floor of the tram saying, "Goodnight, Good Morning!" while everyone else enjoyed seeing the animals roaming the farm. They enjoyed dancing with each other during the animal shows, hanging upside down, sitting on their dad's and grandpa's heads, feeding the baby goats, feeding each other, and seeing all the great Halloween decorations. (Sometimes I think that I have another set of twins in my family since they do everything the other one does and are really inseparable.)

Pumpkin Patch

Well, it's fall in Missouri, so you're obligated to take a trip to one of the many great pumpkin patches in the area. We actually went to the same one two weekends in a row for birthday parties. These photos are of the kids from Jordan's friend Anna's 3rd birthday party. Isn't she cute? Allison got to tag along too and all the kids had loads of fun.

Babler State Park

Every year, weather permitting, the Chervitz family heads to a beautiful park for the afternoon to cook out, play games, fish, hike and more. This year was really fun now that my kids are old enough to really participate. We all had a wonderful day, enjoying the great fall weather and each other

Fall Fling

Every year the Nursery School where I work and where the kids go to school, Lucky Lane, has a fall event for all the families. Here are some photos from that event last weekend, including a hayride, a photo of Jordan with his teacher, the sing-a-long I lead and more... lucky lanee-mail.jpg

Miscellaneous Fall Photos

Here are some recent photos of the kids, including some taken at a park when my friend Mindy came to town. It was so cute getting my kids together with both Mindy and Gayle's two kids. We all had a great time.

Yom Kippur

This Yom Kippur Marianne, Steve, Jordan and Allison came over for dinner. The adults ate in the dinner room for a change while the kids played and refused to sit at the table. The only food they tried (in the kitchen) was my Matzo Ball Soup. As you can see, it was a very sobering experience even though they said they loved it! As usual, I tried to get a decent picture with them and, as usual, Jordan is trying to give his fake smile while Allison shows her serious side...

Standing practice

We've been trying to get the twins ready for walking, so we've been letting them stand up. They can both stand if they are holding onto something, or leaning against the back of the couch, but so far they have very little sense of balance. At any rate, here's some pictures of their efforts. Click the thumbnails to enlarge.
