"Tea" at Grandma's

This morning, after last night's sleepover, Jordan and Allison decided to have a tea party in the pool. They spent the morning pouring "tea", running naked, and going potty. Allison, who is quickly becoming Jordan's clone, wants to be just like her big brother and is very quick to ditch her diapers and sit on the potty!

Playdate with Tyler

Today my friend, Roz, and her grandson, Tyler, came over to play with Jordan (and Allison, of course). Even though they have only met twice they are fast becoming big buddies!

Vergilia and Ahmad visit

Greta's sister Vergilia and her husband Ahmad came out from Atlanta to spend a week with us and the kids. They had a lot of fun and helped us a lot with the kids. Greta and I were able to see a few movies and have a couple of romantic dinners by ourselves. We got some great pictures out of it too!

In this picture Annelie looks a little different than usual, different even than what she looks like in real life! I wonder if that's another kid?

No, Marin hasn't turned into a vampire, she actually just got her first taste of cherry. Despite the look on her face, she has grown to love it!

Jordan's Swimming Lessons

Jordan and some of the neighbor boys have been taking swimming lessons this summer. He's even starting to swim all by himself! Yesterday, we all got in and had fun.

Allison makes her own fun

While mommy and daddy worked outside, Allison took advantage of a puddle in our garage and went "swimming", clothes and all. She was having so much fun, we couldn't stand to make her stop. Until she started drinking the garage floor water...

First Fishing Trip

Steve has been really excited to teach the kids how to fish, so yesterday we went to the lake in my parent's subdivision. The expedition didn't last long. We spent most of the time untangling fishing wire! Here are some photos...

Grandma Faye's 94th birthday

Steve's grandmother, Faye Richman, recently turned 94 years old! She is an amazing woman and has more energy than all of us combined. To commemorate the occasion, Steve and I hosted a dinner party at our house for his family. Here are some photos from that day. (Warning: the ones of Jordan dressed up as a girl are a bit upsetting - it was the work of my neices!)
