Trip to the Ozarks
Once again, we accompanied my parents to the Missouri Bar Association conference in the Ozarks. This time the conference was held at Tan-Tar-A and the kids were at much better ages than the last time we went 3 years ago. We had a wonderful time. Here are some photos of our favorite activities.
The weather was in the nineties, so we took full advantage of the several swimming pools they had on the grounds. Our favorite had a huge waterslide which the kids loved. I couldn't believe how brave they were!

The first night there was a party on the pool deck with a great steel drum band. Then they took us all on a boat ride around the lake.

One of the best parts of the resort was the new indoor water park, Timber Falls. The kids loved the two huge waterslides that even went out of the building and back in, the lazy river, climbing aparatus and more. We went back several times for more watery fun.

Here are some other good photos from the trip.

In addition to bowling, an arcade, miniature golf and more on the premises, we ventured into town for the outlet malls, some great food and even a little go-gart riding. Once again, the kids shocked me with their bravery!

Before we headed home, we stopped by the the Bagnell Dam scenic overlook and the infamous "Strip".

Dad and I also had a great trip with all of you. Your children were exceptional...brave, fun, funny, and a pleasure to be with! You and Steve gave us "nachos" also!
It looks like a good time was had by all!!! You're right the kids look like they had a great time on the waterslide and go carts. Love ya,
