My visit to N.Y.
A few weekends ago, I went to N.Y. to visit Andy and family. I had a great time and was amazed at how much the twins have grown. The weather was beautiful and the area where they live was bursting with beautiful flowers and trees.

Annelie was very shy at first and didn't want her picture taken so many of my pictures reflected this, while Marin loved having her picture taken.

Soon, I was able to get tons of great shots of both of them while they were busy playing at home...dress up...

...playing "puppet show" with their dollhouse for hours!...

...reading their many books...

I soon discovered that Annelie loves Diego so that was the first place we headed for at the Children's Museum of Manhatten. Besides the Dora exhibit, there was a fabulous water park outside where the girls had a ball with the boats, water painting, sponges, and various toys.

We then went back inside to explore the many other rooms. I especially liked the room with nothing but blocks. Greta and Annelie built a free form tower, while Andy and Marin copied a picture. Both structures were great and fun for the children to build and destroy!

The next day we went to the park and for a hike.

On my last day in N.Y., we went back into Manhatten to see where Andy works, and to the huge Toys'rus to look for a Diego doll for Annelie and something for Marin (who ended up with a Dora doll)., then back to the apartment for some more playtime.

I was sad to leave but very happy I had a chance to see and play with Annelie and Marin. They are very imaginative, funny, smart, well behaved, and, of course, beautiful! I can't wait to see them again.
