The Chervitz and Kemp Families Go to Eureka
Over Winter Break, we decided to take the kids on a mini-vacation a whole 30 minutes away to the Holidome in Eureka Missouri (home of Six Flags). We went with our friends the Kemps who have children the same age as ours. We had a blast. It was their "Christmas Jubilee" package and although Jordan had to explain to an elf that we're Jewish and don't actually celebrate Christmas, we still enjoyed all the Christmas fun they had to offer.

As part of the pacakge, Mrs. Claus read Holiday stories in the lobby with hot chocolate and cookies, there were Elves to help with Holiday craft projects and then they even came back at night for an "Elf Tuck In" with more stories and more milk and cookies. The kids loved it

At night, we drove through Jellystone Park next door to see their amazing light display.

The Holidome featured even more fun such as a giant pool, hot tubs, shuffleboard, putting greens, video games, a restaurant and bar and more. Swimming was definately a favorite.

The Kemps enjoyed it so much they're already booked for New Year's. We hope to do this again very soon. It was so fun - and right in our backyard!

Wow, that looks like a lot of fun! The part of Jordan explaining to the elf how he doesn't celebrate Christmas is hilarious...
