November jewelry shows
I had 5 jewelry shows in November. Some were sucessful, some were not but all involved lots of hard work carrying, setting up, and tearing down the displays. Here are some pictures at Graphic Traffic, Shaare Emeth, and Barry Hyatt's...(it's pretty pathetic that I'm now taking more pictures of my jewelry than of my grandchildren!)
Graphic Traffic's trunk show was my third show in one week.

Here are my displays at Shaare Emeth, which may look familiar!

Barry Hyatt's was my last show. I enjoyed seeing the way we displayed it at his store and I'll be leaving most of my jewelry there for awhile. This "hobby" of mine has become a full time job...the making of the jewelry is easy and fun for me, the selling of it is much harder than I realized. I'm going to focus on being in more stores, selling it by appointments at my house, and selling from my website, which is www.afpjewelry.com.

This year has been a great learning experience. I've learned how to design and make jewelry, what venues work and which do not, and that I love creating new pieces of jewelry much more than the "business" aspects of selling them.

You did a great job on all of your shows. Your stuff looked great and everyone was very impressed - even if they didn't all buy. Congratulations!
Thanks for all your support and encouragement! I owe it all to you...I never would have dreamed I'd be doing this a year ago!
