Allison Turns 4
On September 15th, Allison FINALLY had her birthday and turned four. She's been asking for about 5 months now, on a daily basis, when is it going to be her birthday. She got to make a crown at school and have a special treat to kick off the celebratory weekend.
After school, we went to her favorite restaurant with both sets of grandparents. She had a great time and loved the doggie Grandma Bevie brought for her.

On Saturday, I took her to see Disney Princesses on Ice. She wore her new tierra from Deb in California and was mesmerized by the performance.

Then the next day, the celebration continued with her birthday party at the Hairy Elephant, a children's "salon". The girls dressed up like princesses, got their hair, nails and makeup done, made a jeweled purse and got a cookie and a goody bag to take home. Even Jordan got to take part by dressing up as a policeman and fireman, getting his first "shave" and a tatoo. Everyone had fun, except for the birthday girl who immediately ripped out her beautiful up-do and took off her dress. So much for the big princess party she's been begging for all year!

Whew, what a week! It was fun helping Allie celebrate her fourth birthday all week. Even though she didn't like her up-do, she really looked beautiful! Thanks for letting us share her special day(s)!
Wow, great pictures. Especially the first one! It looks like she had a great birthday party. I'm sure she had a great birthday!
Grandpa Maynie and I sure had fun being with all of you for Allison's 4th. She sure looked cute as a little princess -- thank goodness for pictures -- it was like magic -- now you see it now you don't. Jordan could have been the entertainment he was having fun with his costumes and looking for just the right "pop up" to play with while the "princess and her court" were busy.
